Finding Ansible Content

This topic describes how to use the Galaxy web site to find Ansible content.

Partners

Use the Partners page. To quickly find content available from a specific partner. At the top of the page is a filter toolbar that can be used to filter partners by name and description.

To find partners with micro in the name, for example, leave the filter dropdown set to Name, type micro in the input field, and click the Enter key to apply the filter.

Use the sort order dropdown to change how results are ordered. By default they’re ordered by Name. Choose from Name or Description, as pictured below:

Results are returned in ascending order. Click the arrow to the right of the sort order dropdown, as indicated in the image below, to switch between ascending and descending order. The arrow points up to indicate ascending, and down to indicate descending.

Community

Use the Community page. To quickly find content available from a specific community author. At the top of the page is a filter toolbar that can be used to filter authors by name and description.

To find authors with geerling in the name, for example, leave the filter dropdown set to Name, type geerling in the input field, and click the Enter key to apply the filter.

Use the sort order dropdown to change how results are ordered. By default they’re ordered by Name. Choose from Name or Description, as pictured below:
